Welded wire fencing in rolls
Welded fencing on a roll is the most economical way to put up a long run of fence. The wires are welded together where they cross and then coated in PVC, which protects against corrosion and gives the fence an even green shade (RAL 6005).
Unlike woven mesh, welded fencing holds its shape and does not sag. The roll is 25 m long, in heights of 1000-2000 mm.

How to choose
Height
1000-1200 mm marks off an area; 1500-2000 mm also stops it being climbed.
Aperture and wire
A tighter aperture in the lower part keeps smaller animals in or out. Heavier wire gives a stiffer fence.
Post spacing
With roll fencing, allow 2.5-3 m between posts so that the mesh does not sag.

How long is one roll?
The standard roll is 25 m long. Heights run from 1000 to 2000 mm.
Does the PVC coating come off over time?
The PVC coating protects the wire against corrosion and lasts for years. It can be damaged by a knock, and then the spot is worth painting over.
