Fence posts for panel fencing
The post is the load-bearing part of a panel fence, and it decides whether the fence stays straight. The catalogue has both round (Ø 48 mm) and square posts, in lengths of 2000–2500 mm, galvanized and powder-coated in the same shades as the panels.
Posts can be installed in two ways: set directly into the ground in concrete, or fixed with a post foot to an existing concrete base. Post feet are in the catalogue in the same colours.

How to choose
Length
Choose a post 600–800 mm longer than the panel, so it can be set in concrete in the ground. With a post foot, the panel height is enough.
Shape
A round post costs less and is enough for most domestic fences. A square post is stiffer and suits a taller fence and the gate.
Colour
Choose posts in the same RAL shade as the panels: 7016, 6005, 8017 or 9005.
Frequently asked questions
Does the post have to be set in concrete?
Setting it in concrete is the surest way. If the base is already concrete, a post foot fixed with anchors can be used.
How far apart should the posts be?
The post spacing comes from the panel width. A standard panel is 2500 mm wide, so the post spacing is about 2500 mm too.
